This has got to be the stickiest, most sinful dessert I've created. The texture is rich and gooey and the flavour is intense. Obviously it tastes of dates, which obviously means that it’s sweet, really sweet, probably even too sweet. But if you look beyond all that saccharine overkill, there is a real depth of flavour that is sometimes missing from most sticky date puddings.

Serve the pudding as hot as possible. Serve with a dollop of good quality vanilla-bean ice-cream and drench with the toffee sauce.

yumyumyum. the sticky date pudding is super yummy. esp when paired with vanilla ice cream... and whipped cream *drools* just had it for my fren's bday last fri. highly recommended.

this was soooo good. don't let its brown dull looks deceive you. i don't usually eat dates, but somehow, this is an exception.
